We’re developing an application that ran under Microsoft .Net using VB and SQL Server but is also being developed using Pylons and running under Gnu Linux hosted by Westhost, but sharing the same Microsoft SQL Server database. Every step of the way has problems to be solved, and this is a log of some of those problems and their solutions. We’ve benefited from many online postings, so we post these so others may benefit from our discoveries and perhaps discover some things for us too. For example, nobody had written about Pylons on Westhost when we started.
